Council
Al Saif fish market is near completion and expectations that its income
reaching up to 8 million annually
The head of the municipality council of Qatif, Eng. Shafiq Al
Saif, the near completion of Qatif fish market, which serves as a
cultural and economical leap to the province, expecting that its income to
reach about 8 million annually.
Al-Saif said that the council is keen that the small investors take advantage
of this huge project, which will return with benefit being a Gulf attraction
point for fish and shrimp industry, pointing that there are about 60 kilometers
on the coast between Qatif and Safwa are investable the future.
This was during a meeting held recently between the Board of Asharqia Chamber
of Qatif branch headed by Eng. Abdul Mohsen Al Faraj, and the municipal council
of the province of Qatif.
The meeting has concluded to intensify the work to overcome obstacles and to
support future investments, and agreement to form a working team of members of
both councils to study and improve the investment environment in the province
of Qatif, the meeting ought to be take place periodically to discuss the
results and Updates .
For his part, Chairman of the business board of
Asharqia Chamber, the Eng. Mohsen Al Faraj, has praised the previous
achievements of the municipal council, for its seeking that the government
authorities provide branches of it within the province.
